  1. Settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories: Israel has been accused of violating international law by building settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are considered occupied territories under international law. The United Nations Security Council has passed multiple resolutions condemning these settlements as illegal.
  2. Gaza blockade: Israel has been criticized for imposing a blockade on the Gaza Strip, which has been described as a form of collective punishment against the Palestinian people. The blockade has been condemned by the United Nations and human rights organizations for violating international law and basic human rights.
  3. Use of force against civilians: Israel has been accused of using excessive force against Palestinian civilians, including during protests and military operations. Human rights organizations have documented cases of Israeli forces using live ammunition and other forms of lethal force against unarmed protesters, which is contrary to international law.
  4. Annexation of the Golan Heights: In 1981, Israel annexed the Golan Heights, a territory that it captured from Syria during the 1967 war. The annexation has been widely condemned as a violation of international law and has not been recognized by the international community.
  5. Treatment of Palestinian prisoners: Israel has been accused of mistreating Palestinian prisoners, including torture, inhumane treatment, and denial of due process. These actions are considered violations of international law and human rights.
