Jihad is an individual obligation upon every Muslim

• Jihad is the greatest deed in Islam and the salvation of the ummah is in practicing it.  In times like these, when Muslim lands are occupied by the kuffar, when the jails of tyrants are full of Muslim POWs, when the rule of the law of Allah is absent from this world and when Islam is being attacked in order to uproot it, Jihad becomes obligatory on every Muslim.  Jihad must be practiced by the child even if the parents refuse, by the wife even if the husband objects and by the one in debt even if the lender disagrees.
• The Messenger of Allah said:  “Whoever dies and has not fought or intended to fight has died on a branch of hypocrisy” (Related  by Muslim)
• Praying to Allah to award you with martyrdom
• Providing Moral support and encouragement for the mujahideen
• Defending the mujahideen and standing up for them
• Encouraging others to fight Jihad
• Praying for the mujahideen
• Raising our children on the love of Jihad and the mujahideen.

The situation on the ground

“If the Houthis attack Israel with drones and missiles on their own, Israeli air defences can most likely intercept them.  If the Houthis join multiple other Iran-backed groups – Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, possibly various militias in Syria – in attacking Israel simultaneously, then there is a higher chance that Israeli air defences could be overwhelmed.  Such a multi-front war is the nightmare scenario for Israel.”

• Hamas has allied with Tehran, the Syrian regime (despite Syria’s seeming lack of real enthusiasm for reconciliation), and Hezbollah—an alliance that could cost Hamas the Arab Sunni majority.
• US has warned Iran that it does not want another regional war.
• Iran and Hezbullah does not see that a regional war would serve their interests.
  • Basically, they are too weak to fight for Palestine at the moment.

• Opening a new front would split Israels attention and force.
• Opening a new front would cause harm to Israel’s gas extraction fields and water desalination plants.
• Opening a new front would bog down US in another war in the Middle East, which would be detrimental for Biden’s election.
• Opening a new front would rise oil prices and put pressure on the United States and Europe.

The non-state army

• Victory
  • Forcing your opponent to want to “negotiate”
  • Winning means that your opponents never come back.
  • Winning a war only to fight the same country again 50 years later means that you didn’t win it in the first place.
• Advantages
  • Relatively invulnerable to common tools of coercion, deterrence and defense.
  • The economic infrastructure that underwrites state power has become more vulnerable.
  • The attacks on the World Trade Center managed to kill an order of magnitude more Americans than two separate wars.
• Disadvantages
  • Limited Coordination: Non-state actors may lack the coordination and cohesion needed to mount effective military operations against states. State armies have a centralized command structure and extensive communication networks, which allow for coordinated and efficient military operations. Non-state actors, on the other hand, may be decentralized and operate independently, making it difficult to coordinate large-scale operations.
  • Lack of Resources: Non-state actors may lack the resources, training, and technology needed to compete with state armies. States have access to advanced weapons and technology, trained personnel, and extensive logistical support, which may give them a significant advantage over non-state actors.

  • Pay your spies and agents provocateurs well.
  • Use counter intelligence quietly.
  • Turn spies into double agents. Always know more.
